Week 8 Home Communication
It is ALL about Production this week! Our preparations have been full steam ahead and we are finally ready to reveal to you...'Clarkville and the Time Coders!'
Earlier this week you received a full communication about this - we have attached it for your convenience. Please read it carefully as there is a huge amount of information in it, particularly regarding where children need to be dropped off and when. We thank you for your support in supplying costumes etc, and hope you enjoy the show!
WHEN - Tuesday 4 December 2018 at 6pm
WHERE - Ohoka Events Centre
All Students to arrive at the venue at 5pm please
Tickets are on sale NOW $10
Tickets for Clarkville and the Time Coders are now available from the school office. Depending on interest we may need to limit ticket sales initially, but will take names and numbers for extra tickets.
We have decided to hire the Ohoka Events Centre this year to enable us to have one performance date at a venue that will hold a sizeable audience. This venue also offers a stage and the technical equipment to support our production.
PREPARATION ON MONDAY 3rd and TUESDAY 4th DECEMBER -
On Monday 3 December, we will bus the school to Ohoka at 11am for rehearsals. We will return to school before 2.50pm.
On Tuesday 4 December, we ask that parents drop their children directly to the Ohoka Events Centre by 9am. Please do not bring them to Clarkville School on this morning. We will make arrangements for the Skids children to be transported to Ohoka at 8.30am and the regular school bus will finish its route at Ohoka on this morning. We will bus back to school at 2:30pm.
TERM 4 SWIMMING -
The pool is said to be at around 25 degrees, which is amazing considering the weather we are having at the moment! Therefore, togs need to start coming to school so we can make the most of it. With From Wednesday onwards please bring togs to school as swimming will be our PE programme from now on.
YEAR 8 DINNER PREPARATIONS -
Year 8 parents were sent invitations during the week for the Year 8 Graduation Dinner. Please ensure you RSVP with the following information to Kathryn in the office -
* Names of the adults who are attending
* Full payment at the time of RSVP.

YEAR 7's - TEAM BUILDING EXPERIENCE TERM 1 -
Please remember to hand in your permission and health booklets to Mrs Morrie by 6th December.
SEESAW -
Over the next week or so, we will be uploading our final student/teacher comments to Seesaw around The Leadership Challenge programme we run in Matawara.
Presently the final 2 weeks of school are looking like this...

* MONDAY: Practice at OHOKA HALL - 11am onwards - bus back to school for end of day
* TUESDAY : Whole school at OHOKA Hall all day (Parents to drop off by 9am, we will bus back to school) Production Night - OHOKA HALL - TIME 6pm - students to be there by 5pm.
* WEDNESDAY : Canterbury Athletics Championships
* THURSDAY: Fish and Chips
WEEK 9 -
* MONDAY : Year 8 Dinner
* TUESDAY : Wet and Wild / Transition to new Teams Session 1
* WEDNESDAY: Transition to new Teams Session 2
* THURSDAY : Prize Giving Assemblies - Afternoon 1:30pm and Evening 6:00pm
* FRIDAY : LAST DAY! School finishes at 12:30pm
