Home Communication Week 4

Welcome to Week 4!
We are BACK! What an amazing week in Wellington we have had! All of our Year 8's have been exemplary models of what a Clarkville Year 8 Leaver is, and we are so proud of all of them! They have earned their 'stripes' - so to speak!
Our Camp could not have been so successful if it was not for the AMAZING parents - Chris Kerry, Brenda Martin, Keri Climo, Kim Smith, Theresa Aitchison - they played an integral part in ensuring we all had a fantastic time!

School photos are on MONDAY - please ensure clean, tidy, correct uniform. Year 8's will have a Leavers photo taken, where they can feel free to wear their Leavers t shirt, however we would like a school shirt for the Team photo please.

We now have a short reprieve in our programme, where we will be getting thorough our end of year assessments, and seesaw posts, before we take a deep breath and delve into Production Fun!

SEESAW -
This week we will begin our end of year reflections in each of our learning areas on Seesaw. Each of our Aspire students will be looking at the progress they have made since Term 1, and what that has done for their learning.

EMERGING LEADERS PATHWAYS -
There is now only 2 weeks left to have Emerging Pathways completed! We would like these handed in before show weekend, but will accept them on MONDAY MORNING immediately following show weekend. Remember, you need to cover ALL 5 Leadership categories, or you can not be awarded your medal.

SUN HATS -
This term is a 'Sun hats' term, so please ensure these are at school ready to go each day. Year 8's who have earned their caps, are more than welcome to wear these as a sunhat. We have lovely new shade sails going in at school, and these will be the areas, for those who don't wear their sun hats, to sit in.

CELL PHONES AT SCHOOL -
We are reminding all children that as per their ICT Digital Device Agreement, they are required to sign their cell phones in at the Office, on arrival at school in the morning. If children are found to be flouting this agreement, they will be expected to leave cell phones at home indefinitely. Your support in this area is appreciated... these children know who they are...!

YEAR 8 PARENTS -
Remember to pop your name into the google doc that was sent to you in the holidays! Thank you so much to those who have done this already! We are needing more parents to assist with the 'pack down' of the MPF on the Tuesday, so please consider if you can help out in this way.

Also, don't forget the baby photo of your darling Year 8 rascal!  Please ensure these are sent to us via email ASAP as a JPEG (photo) or if you prefer bring it to school in a NAMED envelope and we will scan this for you.

Have a lovely weekend see you next week.
Kristie, Vikki, Lynn.
