Week 10 Home Communication
Welcome to Week 10!
It is hard to believe that we have reached this end of the term already! It has been a jam packed term with a heap of learning along the way.
3 WAY CONFERENCES -
These continue this week - please note the early finish time of 12:30pm on WEDNESDAY 4th JULY.
Conferences are 20 minutes in duration - please appreciate that with 50 to get through, we will run to time - sharp! Should you run late, we can't allow for a late finish to make up time, as this generates a flow on effect that will put other parents and teachers behind.
A buzzer will sound at 17 minutes to assist the children to know to wrap it up.
We look forward to seeing you all and celebrating your child's learning with you.
VISION and HEARING TESTING -
This will happen on Monday morning for our Year 7 students.
KAPAHAKA and 40 HOUR FAMINE BOOKS -
Please ensure Kapahaka forms are returned ASAP! Also, some of our children are yet to return their 40 Hour Famine booklets. This is disappointing, as it creates enormous hassle for Kathryn in the office. Please return these quickly!
SEESAW -
This week you will find some assessment pieces from your child in the areas of Writing and Inquiry. After lots of discussions with parents about Seesaw, it would seem that you are all finding it a great way to be in touch with what is happening in your child's learning.
It is great to hear many of you read the posts with your children, and write feedback to them! Awesome!
PIZZA FUNDRAISER -
Don't forget to support the Pizza Fundraiser on Friday - Kim S and Keri C are organising this.
SPORTS UNIFORMS -
Those who played in our Winter Sport programme this term, need to return their sports uniforms clean THIS WEEK.
Please ensure these are returned to MRS MORRIE - not the Office.
Remember, no options or sport this week, however, we have an assembly on Friday morning - where the Choir will share. We hope to see you there!
Thank you to you all, for your ongoing support over the Term - it has been a great one! Have an enjoyable and safe couple of weeks, and we will see you on the 23rd of July.
Have a great week,
Kristie, Vik and Lynn.
