Week 5 Home Communication
Welcome to Week 5,
WOW what an amazing Cross Country we had last week. Stunning weather, beautiful scenery, and our team exceeded our expectations by running the additional lap for their personal races, AND then running with the juniors of the school - we are very proud! Leadership is not always easy, and it is not always focussed in the areas that are your favourite!
We also had our first week of Options and Winter Sport with all of our team off doing their own things that interest them. It has to be said, that we are very grateful to those parents who have offered up their time to assist with these programmes. We understand that it is certainly not always easy!
DEVICES -
There is a distinct number of children who are not bringing their own devices, despite owning them. We encourage ALL children to bring their own device as this is the easiest and fastest way to access our learning. To avoid the drain on our team devices, and the inevitable 'waiting' for learning, we would appreciate it if you could also remind your child to do this, should they already own their own device. Even if it needs charging still bring it, as we have facilities for charging.
This week doesn't have too many additions outside of the norm to it...
ICAS -
Science is timetabled for Tuesday this week, for all of you that entered this.
YOUNG LEADERS DAY -
This event is on Wednesday for the Year 7's - please be at school PRIOR to 8am for this. All information was given out in a notice 2 weeks ago. Please let us know if you require another one.
WINTER SPORT/OPTIONS -
Again, this will happen on Friday. Those of you involved in umpiring or assistance for this week, will be emailed prior to Friday.
Have a great week !
Kristie, Vik, Lynn
