Week 8 Home Communication

Welcome to Week 8!

TRIATHLON - 
The day is here! MONDAY - weather permitting - we will be holding our annual triathlon from 11:00am - 12:30pm. Please follow all advice given on recent emails that have come out - it is VERY important we all abide by the safety procedures that have been set.

NORTH CANTERBURY SWIMMING SPORTS - 
This event is on THURSDAY this week and those who are part of it, will have been notified. This event is a warm up event for those children who will be heading to the Canterbury Swimming Championships later in the term.

CLARKVILLE SCHOOL TWILIGHT GALA - 23 MARCH - NOT LONG TO GO NOW! 

We rely on a lot of community support to run the gala. Recently, an email was sent home with how you can help, to see this information go to https://clarkvillepta.weebly.com/twilight-gala.html. There are plenty of ways your family can be involved. Please get in touch with Krissie to let her know how you can help.

In Matawara, we are charged with bringing $5 per family to help contribute to our Gala. This money will go towards purchasing the shortfall of items still needed for the Gala.

LEADERSHIP PROJECTS and EMERGING LEADERS PATHWAYS - 

Some children are making great progress towards these! Please note the following... 

YEAR 8 - PLANNING for your project is due AT THE END OF THE TERM. 

YEAR 7 - You SHOULD have completed 3 tasks by the end of Term 1... I have not seen MANY tasks yet... I know that some of you have some under way, and I urge you to have some handed into Mrs Morrie soon! 

ICAS - 
Please return ALL ICAS testing notices and payments to the office as soon as possible.

CHOIR -
Those of you who are interested in Choir, your forms are due back to MRS CADDIE first thing Monday morning! First 10 will be in!

LEVEL UP! 
We are beginning to branch into the MAKING of our characters for Level Up. All students need to bring the materials they need to create their characters, for each of the situations in Level Up - Level 3! Each of the students know what this means, so please ask them to show you on our Team Website.
